2. Cars on the Route (Galena)
A quirky stop featuring Tow Tater, the inspiration for Tow Mater in Cars. They also have old trucks and souvenirs.
3. Galena Mining & Historical Museum (Galena)
Located in an old Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad depot, it showcases mining history, Civil War artifacts, and Route 66 memorabilia.
4. Riverton’s Old Riverton Store (Eisler Brothers Store)
This general store has been around since 1925 and is a perfect place to grab a snack and feel the old-school Route 66 vibes.
5. Brush Creek Bridge (Marsh Arch Bridge) (Baxter Springs)
The last remaining "Rainbow Bridge" on Route 66, built in 1923. A classic photo-op!
6. Route 66 Visitor Center – Baxter Springs
Housed in a historic Route 66-era Phillips 66 gas station, this is a great place to pick up travel info and souvenirs.
